Airport attractions- KLIA Jungle Boardwalk
It has been a long long time since I had a transit through KLIA 1 (the main terminal in Kuala Lumpur, used by all full service airlines). Most of my transit were through KLIA2, the low cost one. Recently, thanks to Malindo Air who invited me to Bali, I got to experience KLIA 1 While I am planning a separate post on KLIA 1 vs KLIA2, this post is about a nice attraction available in KLIA1's C wing.
KLIA Jungle boardwalk is a nice mini forest right inside the terminal. It is open from 7 AM to 7 PM, I managed to go inside just before the closing time. Entry is free.
If you're transiting through KLIA2 and during day time, do spend a moment inside the Jungle boardwalk.
Several dozen varieties of flora exists inside the jungle boardwalk- name plate gives brief description and identification. No animals like butterfly or birds were found, which is fine- not fair to confine them into this small space.
Of course KLIA1 is no match to Changi, who have butterfly garden, sunflower garden and many more attractions to keep the tourists engaged. Check this post.
