Manipur politician with aircraft as his symbol
A politician with aircraft as his symbol
Spotted this somewhere in Imphal- a local politician seeking
votes with aircraft as his symbol. The symbol seems to be impeccably crafted,
including clear sharklets, rudder and ailerons and APU exhaust.
The poster is for Kodompokpi gram panchayat election. His name is Shri Thokchom Nandkumar. (as translated by Anuj Bhudkar)
First line in the script is Manipuri (Mayek script) while rest of the poster is in Bengali (Manipur was using Bengali language till 1970, the migration to new local language script is still in progress, again as briefed by Anuj Bhudkar.
Not sure if he won the election. Best wishes to him.
