 India to Japan return tickets are now available for less than 40k from many cities

Available from Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi etc, on ANA, VietJet, Singapore airline etc. ANA and SQ are full service airlines including food, entertainment, baggage while VietJet/Air Asia would charge extra.

ANA has direct flights from DEL and BOM to NRT. Other airlines can fly you to Haneda or Narita one stop from their hub.

Available for various dates- Nov 2024, March to May 2025 and more.

Indigo doesn't want you to book early!

A generic belief in aviation is that if you book early, you get to save a lot. With most airlines, if you can commit to a trip 6, 9 or 12 months in advance you usually get a much cheaper ticket compared to someone booking just 2 or 3 months in advance. However India's largest airline Indigo doesn't believe in this concept.

Let us take a look

Example 1: Mumbai to Baku (GYD, Azerbaijan)

Current date: 14 September 2024

BOM-GYD: 8th August to 18th August 2025, 11 months from now is 42000 INR but 15 days from now, Sep 30, Oct 9 2024 is just 40k!. No point booking 1 year in advance as there's no savings. Wait for cheaper deal closer to travel date.

Example 2: DEL-ALA (Almaty, Kazhakstan)

Current date: 14 September 2024

DEL-ALA, Aug 2025 is 26k return, October 2024 is just 25.5k return. Why book an year in advance?

 

Example 3: BOM-IST (Ishanbul)

Current date: 14 September 2024

BOM-IST: Aug 2025 is 42k, Sep/Oct 2024, 2 week from now is 41k

Let us check a domestic

Delhi-Mangaluru return ticket is 13.6k for Aug 2025, but 13k for Sep/Oct 2024!

 And on top it they do a jumla of saying "Filling fast" for a travel date 1 year from now

Kochi- Vietnam return for 17k!

Return tickets to Vietnam are available from 17k INR.

Kochi to Da Nang via Kuala Lumpur and few other destinations within Vietnam, available for 17k return on Air Asia, sold via OTAs like MMT and Cleartrip. Date- October end & November and more combinations.

Checked flights from few other cities- Chennai, BLR, Kolkata etc, not as cheap as Kochi

Because of cyclone Yagi I guess lots of people are cancelling their tickets and prices will drop. Should be fine by end of October, which is deemed good season.
